Joe Don Baker passed away at 89. While I know he hated what MST3K did to his film, "Mitchell," it remains one of the shows funniest episodes in its entire run. A true MST3K classic.

So we are suddenly worried about CEO safety in a country "awash with guns", but not when it's our own school children being gunned down. Tells you all you need to know.

I don’t care if Trump fell asleep in court today or not, the news that gets me excited is Criterion announcing Risky Business in 4K!
Time of your life, huh kid?

Before anyone gets all nostalgic for OJ, I would say this is a perfect time to revisit this absolutely gripping, Oscar winning documentary. One of the most fascinating films I've ever seen that manages to capture a moment in history and examine it from all sides. A masterpiece of the genre.

So good.
If you know who @karaswisher.bsky.social is, you most likely already know about this book. If you are not familiar, but have an interest in Silicon Valley and it's crazy history since just before the turn of the new century, then you probably should.
Worth Your Time. Audio book is great.

One Trilogy to rule them all. Just finished this amazing work of cinematic art. These films just wrap you up in their world so completely, it’s always a bit of a readjustment to come back to reality.
A true classic.

Not quite the disaster it was made out to be. Better than Crystal Skull (if that’s even a marker) and a fine Indiana Jones adventure. Nothing is ever gonna match the magic of Raiders. The 4K transfer looks fantastic.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Afterimage

One of the best written episodes of Trek I've ever seen, and one of a handful that had me in tears by the end.

Bravo.

I saw this film 8 times during its initial theatrical run, and I am super happy to have this incredible 4K transfer on disk. It looks absolutely stunning.

The last of the Black Friday Deals and a welcome addition to the 4K Library.
The new scans of these films are miles ahead of their Blu-Ray counterparts. Included in this set is The Trouble with Harry, which the template for 1989’s Weekend at Bernie’s. Shadow of a Doubt is fantastic!
