My mom’s a divorce court counselor (MSW) and she needs to speak with families to determine child justice rights. When kids are present she’s got all the little toys and candies to help make tough conversation easier.

We have a standing maintenance call to unlock the basement because we need to know what’s up! It’s getting cold and many neighborhood feral cats find the particular spots, but we’re missing OUR orange outdoor cutie. It’s all ~circle of life~ in a way but we want to lock the kitties inside in winter

Yeah man, we’ve been dealing with this issue, four kittens tumbled out the basement, my outdoor cats HATES this development. We stopped seeing 2 of the kittens, thought they froze, now haven’t seen the other 2 for days. My bf is depressed because of this complicated outdoor cat situation.

A local cool weirdo I’m friends with is prolific in the zine world. Check out Olchar Lindsann in Roanoke, VA. He teaches hs English and runs a zine fest and deeply researches unpublished works. He shows great passion and respect to the zine world. I have many of his papers/works.

What do you do about the water? I’m strongly considering Umphrey’s Mexico thing but am afraid of popping my brains out during Wizard Burial Ground because I brushed my teeth with tap water. Never been to Mexico before

This is my neck of the woods! I’ve been to roosterwalk three times over ten years, always fantastic! Truly one of the best festivals, especially to vend at.

Oh for sure for sure. I studied abroad thrice in Germany then went back to school in Madison Wisconsin where the public immediately veto-ed a high speed rail between Chicago - Milwaukee - Minneapolis. All great cities in a region that would be made better by more public transportation!!!

Philly or Chicago? its so disappointing our country hasn’t valued public transport. you could get around alright in a small town with a bus system but you’re still reliant on their minimal schedule and it’s bus only. I like in SW Virginia and still wish we had more public transport

Accidentally landed in Roanoke a few years ago. Actively trying to move towards Williamsburg! Mountains are great but jobs aren’t here.
