New years resolution?

Have a manuscript ready to go by the time the next writer's summit comes along (May-ish).

If I could take actionable moves to show my stuff to an agent, that's one step closer to publication. A girl can dream.

It's so annoying that the em-dash has been apparently bastardized by AI to the extent that people try to use it as an automatic "tell" when they suspect a work of being AI-generated.

I fucking love the em-dash and I hate AI so goddamn much.

ohohoh i haven't updated anything here since that writer's summit back in MAYYY which was very fun and educational, btw

progress has been slow, summer break came and went and robbed me of a lot of writing time due to The Child demanding my energy. but it gave me lots of brainstormy time.

So I know it's been quiet around here, I've been working a LOT on my high fantasy project and am also working on some restructuring for Old Growth, i had a stroke of inspiration I just couldn't ignore.

I'm going to a writers workshop in May and going to meet with literary agents 😬PANIK

I know I've been quiet for a bit. I've been working hard on my high-fantasy project and letting some changes for Old Growth stew in my brain for a bit in the meantime. I will collect some snippets to share along the way; I'm really excited about this one.

It's weird, but I like weird fantasy.
