Another one I often do is switch up between triple attacking on block versus doing c.L > grab, although it's important not to grab during the block stun but a small walk forward to be in grab range can mitigate that

The most tangible example I can provide is anti-air's.
I don't anti-air on reaction and I don't think many people actually do, for me it's all about anticipating when they're most likely to try jumping in and hitting that 2H or DP when I'm proven right, that analysis goes for everything else too!

c.L > c.H is a great frametrap option a lot of characters have, especially for mashing opponents
As for general advice, the best I can suggest is train yourself to observe the patterns and habits of your opponent. Anticipate and structure your pressure/defense around what they typically do
