Sad that the two sets I would want are behind weird company perk systems. I'd love to get the gym badges set, seems like one that could be on the cheap side if it were available without the expensive preorder. I would love the little Pokemon Center too, but I'm not collecting Lego points.

My parents told us that they weren't going to allow video games in the home. But after they found out we only wanted to hang out at friend's houses to play their video games, they bought us a used Gamecube and several games. It was amazing.

I understand that a bit. Does your kid like story games? I find I'm less compelled by first person because I want to see the character and learn their story. First person is a little less compelling and to me, which makes it a bit less immersive.
