That's why I'm not a fan of Chick-fil-A. The food is admittedly pretty good, but the overbearing service and forced friendliness is super off-putting to me.

Same. That first season fucking rips so hard. I definitely need to finish the series though.

Honestly, that was part of what got me when I initially tried watching the show. I absolutely have no issue with lots of rapid-fire dialog, I like the West Wing. I just remember feeling like I was dropped into the middle of a scene, being overwhelmed with dialog, and having no context.

Noice! I remember crushing a bit Alexis Bledel back in the day. I didn't watch the show, but was at least vaguely familiar with it lol. I definitely wanna give it another shot cuz I feel like, conceptually, I should enjoy it.

Not trying to be a contrarian, but I tried watching Gilmore Girls a few years ago and just couldn't get into it. I'm more than willing to give it another shot, but I'm also willing to chalk it up to "show that just isn't for me". And that's perfectly fine!
