"Grandpa Ng" was intercepted and arrested as he exited the subway station in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Police confirmed that Ng was granted police bail after his arrest but did not respond to what actions led to Ng's arrest or other related questions.

Local outlet The Collective confirms that 89 year old democracy activist "Grandpa Ng", arrested on October 1st on China's National Day has been officially charged with "acting with seditious intention" by appearing at a subway station in that day.

A man in his 70's has died in Hong Kong while on a hike with his son in Sai Kung. The man reportedly suddenly lost consciousness during the hike and was airlifted to a nearby hospital but failed to be resuscitated.

Look, I love a good day out at the beach but can a tiny island really sustain 4000 Mainland Chinese visitors all doing the same thing at the same time? Doesn't the hopes of continued eco-tourism rely on the general idea that the ecosystem doesn't collapse at some point?

An elderly man in his 80's was found dead inside a public bathroom in Kowloon Tsai Park, Hong Kong in what seems to be an apparent suicide. The deceased was found with his wrists slashed open, no ID was found and police are trying to confirm his identity.

A Chinese lawyer has been fired after being caught filming himself torturing and killing over 4000 cats over a period of 8 years and selling it on Telegram for profit. No law against animal cruelty exists in Mainland China so he likely cannot be prosecuted for his actions.

A Hong Kong police officer has been sentenced to an additional 16 months of probation for a total of 28 months after being caught with drugs in his personal belongings while inside a police station a second time. Defendant was also sentenced to 4 years in prison.

A man was found dead in what seems to be a suicide via hanging in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. The deceased was found hanging from the scaffolding of a building earlier this afternoon and is believed to be from Denmark due to a Danish ID card found in his belongings.
