I think the OSR/NSR distinction is a useful one when used in the sense of whether a game is compatible with B/X, BECMI, and/or AD&D versus just having old school sensibilities. Rules light seems a lot more subjective.

The quality of their selections has gotten dramatically better in recent years also, I live in a mid-sized Maryland city and as much as I love local/indie bookshops, I have to visit DC to find ones that are better-stocked than our local B&N.
