Fruit Saint with Banana, 8-18-2018 Started as a photo collaboration with Ace during a fruit shoot. We Researched it a bit. There are all sorts of cultural references; Josephine Baker; the large and public protest over the censorship of work done by Natalia LL in Warsaw; the Chiquita sponsored death squads (alleged) in Columbia; and, the really catchy Chiquita commercials with Monica Lewis (deceased). The fun aspect was also a large part of the process. I mounted a 300lb Hot Press underprint on primed and cradled hardboard. Worked for several days on the piece, creating texture, using heavy gel medium, acrylics, metallic acrylics, micron pens. 12x16x1.5," 3 coats Liquitex Acrylic Gloss Varnish, mixed media, Black on sides, wired and ready to hang.

Peeled Piece, 4-2-2018 In this peeled piece I used the pens to make fine lines all over the image. followed by splats of F&W metallic ink, Liquitex acrylic and razor cuts through the wet paint and paper background. Liquitex Acrylic Gloss Varnish to protect the surface. The sides are finished with Benjamin Moore black chalkboard paint for easy touch up (or notes...). The back is wired and ready to hang. 12"x16."

Good Morning... people create worlds that a person can wander in doing all sorts of things. I prefer running naked and having sex (Wicked Island). I think that these worlds are great subject matter and make for compelling art. These pics are just first looks. #wickedisland #landscape #figurative
Midday with a Minotaur Minotaurs will attack in shallow waters. I went a little deeper and was ably to lure him in with another possibility. Enjoying the Scenery Just finished some coal mining... It is a better world. In the Sea A trick I enjoy is luring my prospect into the water. On Wizard Island they (so far) will not chase me to kill me in the water... but if sex is a possibility... Mom and Dad to Be... Walter became my servant in the usual way. He also got me pregnant. Here we are just before the birth in Baelin's cabin. Baelin is out on the pier fishing.

In college I was a model as well as an art student. Trying to capture the visual experience of a model's view. Without moving I start to run the poem Jabberwocky (www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/42916/...) through my head. Acrylic on canvas, 1978, this post is on site at www.rbcdart.com/twas/

Finished one! This combines Sherrill and MorphThing coming up with an image and then myself using that image as a 10x10 underprint. Titled Evangelene. Interesting experiment. I found myself responding to both Sherrill and the AI's intent and way of expression.
