Mine told me that I listened to "gothic country" more than anything else. As I wasn't aware that "gothic country" exists, I was a bit surprised. But I do love this song, which is old-timey country and turns the gothic scale up way past 11, so... youtu.be/e1QgoUkDLvs?...

To me. listening to Mannheim Steamroller is kind of like having sharpened candy canes slowly driven through my ears into my brain.

Remember when he did an interview in a US cemetery in France, and he spent all of the time complaining about how badly he was treated, with the rows and rows of white tombstones as a backdrop?

Mind was blown a few months ago when I learned that Doris Day and Sly Stone were maybe more than good friends.

Maybe the solution to the perplexing continued support of MAGA is to make it mandatory for everyone to watch these people on Sunday shows. I mean, who can really get behind this guy? Or Stephen Miller? Or any of them?

I used to think that no could ever unseat Ted Cruz from the "most punchable face ever" throne, but this guy, and Mike Johnson, too, are strong contenders.

I stumbled across your social media posts some years ago now, and I thoroughly enjoy the things you share with us.

Congratulations!

Does this mean I now have to actually buy AND read your award-winning book?

I first became aware of Brooks during the Bush years. Thought he was worse than useless then, and my opinion of him has gotten worse over the years.

I grew up in textile country. We could always tell what color sheets they were dyeing in the mill by what color the foam covering the river was. It was a good thing, since the mill houses by the river had sewer pipes that dumped right into the river, so the foam covered the shit.

Someone needs to put across the idea to this Bovino idiot that he doesn't have a hair on his ass if he doesn't raid Trump's golf club in Charlotte.

Had the same sort of reaction when I complained about people talking about "Club Fed." They didn't appreciate my idea that even prison camps suck for the inmates - it's still prison.

The Trump property was owned by uber-rich John Kluge. When he died, it went to his last wife, a young British soft-core porn actress, who then had a rather public relationship with VA Governor Doug Wilder.

Reading Rick Atkinson's excellent "The British Are Coming", and last night's passage included the British force landing on Staten Island, and the rapturous reception they got from that hotbed of royalists. So, maybe not much has changed?

I don't take advice from people who managed to be a prominent part of sadly effective anti-Kamala ads. When he comes on, I can't hit the FF button quick enough.

And the volume, or, I should say VOLUME!!! of Prime's ads!

Flew from Danville to Richmond on Piedmont in the early 70's. I wonder if there is even a bus between them now.

I never thought that any one would beat Ted Cruz in the "most punchable face" competition, but little Mikey takes the gold.

I listened to these guys regularly from 2016 to 2024. Life is much better since I stopped. I SO regret the hours and hours of my life I wasted.

I live in downtown Greensboro, and my rep, Virginia Foxx, lives almost a three hour drive away up near Tennessee.
