Yesterday was my last day at Stedi.

After 32 months (a nice, even number!) it is time for my next opportunity.

I'm going to cool down for a bit, but in the meantime: if you're hiring (remote!) AWS/CDK/TypeScript/React/jQuery (obviously) engineers/team leads, well, you know where to find me.

In 1776, our forefathers, recognizing the oppression they were under, set us down a path that would lead to today. Celebrate with me by saying “shut up @steveeypips.bsky.social” your loudest voice.

My brother is making a documentary exploring the impact of book banning in the modern age and how it's targeting marginalized communities in the United States and beyond. If you feel so compelled, he’s fundraising and could use your support.

Reading all this talk about echo chambers.

No one is owed attention. You must earn it. That’s what persuasion is. If people cared about changing people’s minds, they’d go into others’ communities and do the work.

These people are not doing that. They’re yelling and demanding attention.
