Happy new year for someone who I have never met and never spoken to yet I feel like we are friends! United in the cause of literature and dare I say decency as well! It’s a pleasure to read along with such a great group of people!

And then the way he put the dog down! are you serious? It smacked to me of laziness and selfishness! And coldhearted to his family no wonder why they don’t enjoy him being retired at home.

Oh, I’m totally sick with this man! The way he used the term “beating”? Seriously? What the hell did he do? And ask for the incident with the deer that was the man’s fault. He had the dog off leash. The dog did what a dog does when it sees deer, it chased them. Yet he beats the dog to discipline it

I thought the same thing who beat a dog today? My father back in the 1970s used to whack our dog with a roll up newspaper, but I didn’t think anybody does that anymore.
