Last time I was home and using my old childhood clock radio, it occurred to me that nobody makes clock radios like this anymore. The one I have back at my parents' place is this exact model, but in nicer, cleaner condition.

I use this digital clock, which I chose because it has tall numbers I can read without my glasses, and two alarms. Though I also set 3 alarms on my cell phone too. Together they make sure I wake up. I also recently discovered the clock has a USB port in back that I charge my phone from. Convenient!

The weather was beautiful all weekend, and on Sunday someone had this tiny rodent-sized steam tractor which was really neat!

Overall the dances at this con were better than almost all the furry con dances I'd been to in a long time. There seemed to be a bit more variety than I'd become used to from these, and the volume while still loud, was at a pretty reasonable level.

Went to Furlandia over the weekend. It was quite crowded and a bit uneventful, but I did run into 5 people I know, two of which I hadn't seen in over a decade, so that was pretty nice and met some cool new people too.

I looked into it myself, and I'm not seeing it being that expensive, assuming you are flexible with the dates. I've found it as low as just under $600 for two.
