That’s actually a fair point, terminology is important. I’m equating ‘list of sanctioned vessels’ with ‘shadow fleet’, but of course as you point out the latter will always be larger and more fluid than the former.

Are there any estimates of the size of the shadow fleet? Just curious where things stand percentage-wise in terms of the fleet being dry-docked.

Been wondering the same. It’d really be nice to see Ukrainian versions of those FABs pounding Russian positions in the Donbas or Zaporizhzhia, or even just direct air assaults on Russian assets in occupied areas.

Yup, these are drones launched by Ukraine, headed toward targets in Russia. The blue line they’re crossing there is the state border between the two countries.

The 2022 Kharkiv counteroffensive tops the list for me.
It came very close to a conclusion in that moment; general collapse of Russian cohesion wasn’t far off. And it wouldn’t have taken a whole lot more from us in the West over what we were already doing to have given enough to make that happen.
