Sometimes people will judge you for the choices you make or the opinions you have. Sometimes people will think you're uncool. This may happen for reasons fair or unfair. At the end of the day, you have to be your own person. No one is entitled to universal respect for the things they think or do.

Why do only Republicans understand that they have power to SHAPE public opinion rather than just respond to it? Dems just sitting back and waiting for the public sends a signal to that very public that things aren’t that serious.
