Congrats. I recently switch to blitz from rapid and struggle to stay close to 85-90 percentile. While in rapid I had cracked 97th.

You can always benefit from analysis. The only problem is lower time controls usually poorer move quality so there is not a lot of “meat” on the bone. However if you goal is to get better at blitz or bullet analyzing will help you spot your weaknesses and develop a study/practice plan.

On my iPad I open my puzzle book. Then I set it up on the ChessNut. I don’t move any pieces until I work it out in my head and I write the notation for the mating pattern(s) on the remarkable. Then check my answer.

I still play on chess.com (just prefer the UI) but I have started using LiChess a lot more for all of their puzzles and studies.

I get that. The other benefit of being a early adopter is you tend to pick up more followers because people are looking for content and there’s less people there

Best thing I’ve see in a long time. I now know I’m a better Chess player than Lewis Hamilton. And to think, my Dad told me I should give up on chess.

That is beautiful, I think, I’m still not good with visualization. 😂 Qh6+, Rh7, Bf6+, Rgg7, Re8# or Rd8#?

Thanks! I’ll update as it goes. It’s nice to find a community that is focused on slow learning (books, classical, methodical). I’m slowly growing beyond my YouTube speed run lessons as main pillar for improvement.
