I just find it interesting to look at older stories and see how they use to "do" things that became commonplace.

There wasn't a lot of "villain team" stories, so there wasn't a template established yet..

Same thing with "hero team" stories like the Avengers, hence the early weirdness there.

The big problem is Breevort isn't letting the creators be themselves.

They have to write the story *he* wants. Brevoort isn't trying to make books for the fans. He's trying to make books for himself.

I think it's important to also remember that this was one of the first "villain team up" stories at Marvel, so they were still figuring this sort of thing out.

Plus, it's Ditko and he was of the "To be tough they should show they don't need help" mindset, so there's that.

I think that's the real thing dragging Twitter down now- it's a vast group of people who want to feel important for doing literally nothing, looking down their nose and condemning everyone for not meeting *their* imaginary standards.

As if they've done anything to be the moral authority.

There's a reason why Doc Ock was considered Spider-Man's "arch enemy" for the longest time.

That Eternia playset is something sweet.

Kind of wish I had it, even thought I was "too old/cool" for MOTU by that point...

It's an interesting thought experiment.

The Death Note works by default by stopping people's hearts.

But Data has no heart. He isn't alive. Could the Death Note even work on him?

He doesn't even need to be Sherlock. He's good at figuring this stuff out himself.

"I think Kathleen Kennedy should have testified against Landis."

For *what?*

*She was not associated with the segment that led to those kids deaths!*

This just continues to try and blame her for something she *isn't guilty of.*

"I don't want to be one of those people that can't say I'm wrong."

(Proceeds to not admit that they are wrong and still tries to find a way to insist that Kathleen Kennedy was a bad person).

For some reason I thought that was Data vs Light Yagami for a second and I realized that would kind of go hard.

To be fair, this *IS* a *completely separate villain* who impersonated him.

*Plus,* the Chamelon couldn't replicate his powers. Mysterio did.

See, there you go.

Using *logic.*
