I've been driving around Bucks and Montgomery counties in PA, and I'm seeing U.S. flags at various businesses at half staff 4 some reason. I'm not aware of anyone in government or the military who has passed that would necessitate this. If somehow anyone can enlighten me on this, I'd appreciate it.

Realistically, I know what the chances are of this happening (slim and none), but the House should return 2 session and pass an emergency appropriation for the FAA and get it approved by the Senate and sent to #47’s desk given this story (w/Thanksgiving coming up).

I don't mean to shock anybody, but did you know that, as part of Trump's deal with Qatar for that jetliner, we now have to send troops to that country similar to an Article V NATO resolution in case that country is invaded (without congressional approval)?

To be fair, the headline reflects some conservative screed by a woman named Helen Andrews, which French rightly decries. However, Andrews's propaganda also contributes to a way-too-large catalog of right-wing grievance meant to assuage those who feel victimized by perceived loss of privilege.
