You could at least have googled it before posting this. It's played music numerous times. Including Swan Lake and Gangnam Style ...

Mindich finding an unscrupulous and wholly unsuitable buyer for his shares?

That's an insane failure if they had that many military intelligence / special forces grouped like that and lost them.

Natural resources in general. Also assuming Putin didn't lose his mind & launch a nuke (highly unlikely), there'd be virtually no resistance. Taiwan, even if they succeeded, would end up in ruins, and they'd probably lose most of the navy that they spent the last 15 years acquiring - huge self own

With much of refining capacity in Western Russia out of action & shadow fleet getting hit, my guess is their ability to seize territory is basically gone now, and completely gone soon. Ability to hold territory will quickly wane too. I think Putin's close to Hitler in the vengeance weapon period
December 27, 2025 at 4:52 PM
probably very high ... they're ancient now and I doubt they used later manufacturing dates for this, since they'd want to reserve those for real targets rather than dick-waving like this.
December 27, 2025 at 11:54 AM
You mean you don't trust Milosevic's former propaganda minister's word? Shame on you.
December 26, 2025 at 6:08 PM
also the ukrainians can hit LNG vessels when they're full, unlike petroleum / oil. if they hit a couple, Russians are going to find it almost impossible to get crews ... as the conflagration would be instant and leave almost no chance of escape. but maybe the US / EU have 'banned' that

No way of knowing if Putin was actually sincere - most likely not. But Yeltsin was, and Clinton reportedly laughed at him.
December 25, 2025 at 10:12 AM
Since I can't imagine there has been a change in Pentagon / State Dept policy, let alone the White House, re: the default engines ... how is this going to be achieved? Loan of existing ones as a loophole, then a further pattern with RR engine sold to Ukraine?
December 24, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Absolutely zero chance the US / Russia will abide by no sanctions lifting. Almost zero chance the US would stand by security guarantees.
December 24, 2025 at 11:32 AM
not likely, given that they were meeting on friendly terms.
December 24, 2025 at 8:21 AM
if it was destroyed there will definitely be evidence of that in the satellite photos from around those dates.
December 23, 2025 at 9:57 PM
The objective is obviously for MOL to be a custodian and to hand back control to Gazprom some time thereafter.
December 23, 2025 at 3:01 PM
It may be better than what the US/Russia were initially pushing but they'd be insane to go for it when they just secured €90Bn from the EU, & Russian crude is now trading under $35 a barrel. Oil prices are heading lower, so it could hit $30. At that level, total Russian collapse would be imminent.
December 22, 2025 at 4:43 PM
well labour is cheap in Ukraine, but I doubt there are many technicians capable of rebuilding them, and training more people would take ages. they should have partnered with PBS Velka or similar, instead of trying to use warehouse finds.
December 22, 2025 at 10:32 AM
I'm not sure how this is evidence they were destroyed.
December 22, 2025 at 10:25 AM
I don't think Poroshenko is a US vassal. He is hugely self-interested though.
December 22, 2025 at 10:21 AM
No evidence the FP-5 has flown further than the nearest shores of Crimea as of yet.
December 22, 2025 at 10:20 AM
Doubt decoys. Whether failing because of reconditioned engines, poor accuracy, high flightpath, being huge on S3/4/500 operators' screens we don't know. We haven't seen any evidence of hits with them - only ones were Crimea where they hit around the targets but not targets - the hovercraft station
December 21, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Completely different kettle of fish. Also, the original idea seems to have been to create a very cheap, high payload, long range, accurate CM. but if various leaks are true, they only got 1 or 2 out of 4 - high payload, range maybe. accurate no. cheap no.
December 21, 2025 at 9:28 PM
I disagree. There's a huge amount of BS and misinformation around FP, and they're way too close to the office of the president and various disgraced figures - including Mindich. If what he says is true, then the public deserve to know.
December 21, 2025 at 9:22 PM
More likely those huge radar cross sections draw AD fire, allowing the Neptunes to hit.
December 21, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Well they ain't paying for anything with cash ... it's gone.
December 21, 2025 at 3:17 PM
I doubt they will release it.
