At #COP30, the Ministry of Health launched the Strategic Agenda for More Health in the Amazon, marking the Fiocruz Climate and Health Center in Rondônia (Porto Velho-RO) as a milestone for advancing integrated climate-health actions.

Do floods and heatwaves hit the same weak spots in maternal and child health care?

Our review identified 17 categories of interventions that reduce climate-related disruptions. Evidence shows strengthening health systems supports climate adaptation.

I was very glad to present preliminary results from the REACH Project at the XXVI Congresso Brasileiro de Economia (26th National Conference in Economics), held in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. This state has been severely affected by flooding in 2024, with 70% of its municipalities affected.
