We’re being confronted with a constellation of cults that seem to have coalesced in MAGA. If I see any light in the future (near or distant), it’s that there seems to be some disillusionment and some fraying here and there. But the hardliners are entrenched. We gotta lotta work2do!

My sister’s a chaplain and she perfectly understands how and why people are atheists. I’m in the latter camp, but it’s amazing how easily humans will adopt perspectives

the day and sometimes dipping into the 40s at night by this point in the calendar. I’m told I must be wrong and if love the northeast so much why don’t I go back. I likely will, but when I hear that, gee, I just wanna stick around & be a pain the ass a little longer.

Happy Wednesday, all! High in the upper 80s here in Houston and not the slightest change of color.

But that’s okay, I have New England memories coursing through my being. So I’ll just put it in my head that it’s crisp air outside, the trees are redolent with autumn hues, and I’m wearing flannel!

very much like Poland in the early 80s. A lot of diverse groups came together in solidarity and I think there’s a decent chance of that happen here. It might not happen soon, but it will happen. The problem is the amount of damage the US will need to recover. Maybe recovery might not be the aim.
