..books at the right time, and the love and the fun follows. Younger children just love getting a book that is recommended. They love 'fun' illustrations and love getting lost in a story. You've got to get the reading enjoyment in place as early as possible +then encourage with knowledge/enthusiasm

Definitely this. It doesn't follow a formula that some graphic novels have a habit of doing. It's original and quirky and isn't wedged into a particular genre. All the better for it .

Yes absolutely. I have the same feeling of knowing I could be reading more in the time I finish one grown up book. Although the new Murakami book is rather good 😊
