I didn’t read either, but the lack of respect towards the author for the IP of the “original work” leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I’ve read so many books lately — Black Magic & Come to Me by Megan Derr, The Faerie Hounds of York by Arden Powell, A Bone in his Teeth by Kellen Graves, & To Wield the Darkest Night by Beau Van Dalen to name a few! Although the last one was a two star read, I enjoyed the rest :) def need more recs!

I've been using the Margins app for book tracking/reading recently, and I've been super loving the layout and functionality, tbh! It's been a nice change from Goodreads, that's for sure. I look forward to a complete 75 book spread when I'm done. :)

The finale to the Angels trilogy is ANGELS AFTER MAN. It's about the book of Revelation and it's estimated release is on Christmas 🔥 :)

I enjoyed Tell Me What You Did more than anticipated! There were definitely times I felt a little frustrated with Poe’s decisions, but they didn’t feel out of place for her character. Have to finish my write up for Evocation and then I’ll work on this one!

Okay Captive Prince is done and I’m half way through Prince’s Gambit. C.S. Pacat I owe you my life. (But also Dark Rise book 3 when….)

The way Captive Prince has me in a chokehold. Laurent is SO cunty, I love him. Honestly I should have been sleeping but I’m at the 80% mark!! I’ll have to finish it later…

I finished We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer recently, and it was a solid 2.75/5 for me. It would have excelled for me if there was some editing for brevity, and if specific parts had been more elaborated on. It would have worked well a a novella imo!

I’ve been planning to work on opening a bindery + bookshop, and I’m wondering if now is the time. I’ve made a lot of ground work towards this goal and I would love to make it a reality! Hoping I can have something more concrete by the end of 2025…depending on the state of the world, that is.
