Listened to this after watching the movie last year!! I liked both, but each has elements I like more than the other. I’d suggest a double viewing with this one, because it’s actually really interesting to see two different takes on the same story!

This was a reread & I loved it even more as an audiobook! I love how it handles ghosts—even with a lighthearted tone the difficult parts of Claire and Sophie’s relationship (grief, stasis, and female friendship) are so genuine and touching.
