Though I'm no expert, I think an ICC cooperating country would have to invade us first.

The US Congress has not signed onto the ICC protocol for decades. We're in the same boat as Saudi Arabia and Russia, among a few others.

Of course, Congress could do the right thing any day now.

It's hard to raise children with so few mental health resources even in the richest communities in the richest nation on earth.

While you seem to intend no harm, "Hollywood" has nothing to do with this universal tragedy.

I cared for two geriatric horses in Maine that yr. For five weeks the temp never got above 5 F.
That August I found a job teaching HS in NM & the following summer I taught 6th grade in So California.
Sixth grade, better than a polar vortex.

Thoroughbreds exist because oligarchs in the late 1600s, early 1700s were speed freaks and gamblers, so they made breeding for speed as scientific as the times allowed.

In the 1980s, I knew a NH couple, b. 1900, who farmed w/ oxen, huge beasts, shoulders over my head.
They'd used horses 'til 1975 & switched to oxen bec once oxen are trained, they're the same animal every day.
Horses need regular work to stay reliable. Any breaks & you're schooling again for a bit.
