I made a don'twanttogoshopping meal of steamed flounder with ginger and scallions. It was great to have frozen fish around. Better than most of the "fresh" fish we can get in this inland location.

I think what the poster is looking for in a candidate is not just conventional habits, but the habit of presenting oneself as conventional. If the candidate had said, "Currently studying the production, assessment, and marketing of olive oil in support of my brother's business" it would be OK.

I suspect it's not just polling. At a certain point you lose your friends and family. Or your family lose their friends. And then, given the impossibility of winning, there seems no point in continuing to be a good soldier. Thank God for the people of Minnesota.

I think playing the part of a matchmaker would work better than being a romantic partner oneself. Each potential lover could have a bent or failing that would cause them to veer away unless adroitly managed.
