Shane Baz being a controversial pitcher even in the nerd community is such a beautiful thing. I think the return was high but controllable SP is similar to having like Drake Maye or Bo Nix in Football.

Jake cronnenworth is actually on a good contract. Padres trading him only makes sense if it involves like a Spencer arrigheti or other young pitcher. Not a contract swap.
