I am against battery farming, don’t get me wrong. Confinement is cruel.
But it isn’t exactly forced labor, the hens are laying the eggs anyway…

Every time a game company has done this, I’ve resorted to piracy.
If I don’t truly own the game I paid for, and you can take it from me anytime, then piracy is just leveling the playing field.

They appease riots because the end results of not doing so is the vastly outnumbered government gets a gruesome culling by the mob.

No one deserves anything. If you want something, take it. There is nothing stopping you. Even laws are just there to protect those with, from being taken by those without. You just need to beat the ones enforcing those laws.
