Same!! I’m usually a big fantasy girl so this was my first year trying thrillers for a new genre and everyone kept recommending Freida! I totally get why now, they’re easy to read and still keep you hooked the whole way through!

freida mcfadden is a good author to start with thrillers! i’m reading the co-worked by her now 🫶🏽 and also I know it’s super popular and talked about but the ACOTAR series is honestly worth reading and it’s a great first read for fantasy. It’s more romance but builds into a really great fantasy plot!
