What a dumb comparison. Hamnet is a deep look into loss and grief, neither of which is talked about enough in our society. It’s a beautiful film on so many levels, and Jessie Buckley is a revelation.

I’ve seen it twice. It’s a beautiful film in every way. There are so many layers to it, and the study of grief is one we don’t often see in our society.

So I guess you wouldn’t like The Crown? Or any other number of works of historical fiction that get people interested in doing a deep dive into history and the arts?

My DIL has NVLD and other neurodivergent diagnoses, as well as BPD. I can’t imagine the strain of raising her, but she is truly one of my favorite people on this earth. Bless Tim Walz for bringing the discussion about NVLD to the forefront.
