The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Last year around this time we decided to attend the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in NYC via subway. Apparently 3 million other people had the same idea and we were stuffed in train car like sardines. No surprise, 5-days later: COVID. 😷🤷♂️

With a fully remote team of just 20 employees, Bluesky has surpassed 20 million users in its first year since opening to the public and is stealing thunder from rivals hundreds of times its size.
