Spotted this quilt in episode 2 of the Apple TV+ series "Pluribus". It's a colourful quilt made up from squares, but it doesn't end well: the main character Carol takes the quilt from a chest and buries her friend in it ☠️ 💀

I've been stalling for time for weeks now, but today was the day: I finally sandwiched my Erwin Olaf quilt.
I used my Q-Snap frame to prevent the layers from shifting and my Micro Stitch to attach the 3 layers together with tiny black tacks.

Our car doesn't have a sound system where we can play our own music, but we can connect a device with an audio cable. So we bought a small tablet with 2 SD cards, so we can fill these with our own music. To protect the tablet, I made a simple case to store it

Had a fun afternoon today at NDSM island at the Christmas edition of the Queer Market Amsterdam plus the Rampuss pop up market at Treehouse.
A new and bigger event space for the Queer Market and many new vendors. Lots of people attended the market, which created a very nice and relaxed queer vibe.

This is a project where people learn all kinds of techniques, and in the end will make their own clothes, in which they express where they come from, in which environment they live or the group they belong to. The finale will be a fashion show at the palace.

Currently at the Teylers Museum in Haarlem you can watch the exhibition "De mannen van Michelangelo" (Michelangelo and Men), a new perspective on the male body in the work and life of Michelangelo. It was very interesting to see his drawings and studies on paper ->

Flying trees... From our living room, we're looking at an allotment garden. Some of the trees on the waterside were sick and had to be removed. Due to a lack of space, the trees were cut down, hoisted over our apartment buildings and cut into pieces on the street.

I finished part 5 of the Holiday House SAL by SatsumaStreet. The latest addition is the top right part, with the polar bear with the stocking, the wreath and candle, and the cardinal on the chimney. The final part is already printed, so I'm ready to finish this one.

Fun movie afternoon together with my friend Twan today. We watched "Bugonia" from Yorgos Lanthimos, with Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons. A surprisingly entertaining dark comedy alien invasion movie, with some very funny unexpected twists
