He tried attacking a creature he calls "the four-armed demon" during his origin story. But the demon was too strong and he got rekt.
Getting revenge on it is the main reson why he is an Inquisitor.

Yes. They have to follow the curvature of the surface and how that works is not always intuitive. In most reference images I looked at I think the artists cheated by merely imitating the look without making it physically realistic.

Character ref for Jamil, the Blaziken Inquisitor from the wonderful country of Kogane.
One of the earliest characters I came up with. He is supposed to be one of the early antagonists to the other OC's I made. Finally, I managed to settle on a design that I like.
