every night, all my boys eventually trickle in to the bedroom to nap together with me, it's adorable

cats are so deeply social, they just don't show it as acutely as dogs. but if you give them time and pay attention, you start to see just how much they want to spend that time with you ❤️

if
Vector2.up = (0,1)
Vector3.up = (0,1,0)

which one makes more sense to you?

A (lenient):
Vector1.up = 0
Vector4.up = (0,1,0,0)

or

B (strict):
Vector1.up = undefined/throw exception
Vector4.up = undefined/throw exception

me reading about how to get cats used to each others smells by sharing nap spots, blankets, and hair brushes:

:)

me reading about how to handle ear mite infestations in a multi-cat household (after letting them share nap spots, blankets, and hair brushes as much as possible):

if I have an array of y values, is there an O(1) way to find the corresponding x value xt, given a y value yt?

it's basically a root solve, but it's discretized and linear in a way where I feel like there has to be a better shortcut, but maybe there isn't?

US politics is so stupid right now it's insane

hey @unity.com how far are we from getting access to C# 11 generic math bc I'm dying over here 😭

my toxic trait is that I consider curly braces permanently paired so instead of just adding another closing bracket inside the get{} scope I simply have to add it outside the scope, like, morally

okay - approximately how unhinged is this workaround for not being able to call default interface member implementations without a cast in C#?
