another friend of mine works at an ice cream shop in downtown AVL. one of her customers gave her a really creepy note about her that triggered the manager calling the cops on that guy. it really upset her.

again, this is what we have to deal with daily.

friend of mine put trans stickers on the back of her car. she said the aggressive driving around/at her increased quite a bit.
took stickers off, no longer an issue.

this is what it's like to live as a trans woman in the united states. constant harassment in your daily life by bigots.

just got back from seeing The Melvins. True OG stoner metal. Huge influence on so many bands (nirvana, soundgarden, AiC) and you can hear it.

King Buzzo is still one of the all time greatest guitarists ever. He's amazing.

#locktober day 7 -
normal day until I started getting ready to go to a concert that would have metal detectors lol. So I took it off for the show and after wearing it a week I've gotten used to it and it felt weird not having it on. Like, I missed having it on. hard to explain. more thoughts later..

I’m from a family with a lot of law enforcement types.

This is absolutely true for the vast majority of them. When their guard is down, they laugh about assaulting people and then lying about it. And the racism runner over.
