The amazing The Warrior Mermaid was offering sketches for MerMay and I jumped on the opportunity! The finished sketch is absolutely stunning, and I'm so excited!

It's world orca day! This is the dedication page for StO, because as much fun as murderous mermaids are, the book is really about keeping orcas in captivity and forcing them to perform for human entertainment. Both Tilikum and Tokitae died in captivity after a lifetime of abuse #emptythetanks
