Speaking for my employer is above my pay grade.
I’m having a hard time deciding which outcome I’d rather see at this point.

It’s absolutely bananas that Thune didn’t go for this. Schumer just handed him a lifeline but he refused it because—what, it would’ve saved Republicans from themselves? Now he’s gonna be back to fielding angry calls at all hours from the 🟠 about abolishing the filibuster. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Agreed. The biggest gift they could give him on this one is to save him from himself. Then he can go on blaming them for whatever fresh hell he visits on the US economy but be protected from the worst effects of his idiotic ideas.

This is so normal. And it totally sucks. This is the worst part of the process, in my opinion. But you can only do what you can do. Hopefully, your advisor will help you identify any must-fix things. The rest will have to wait until when/if you decide to revisit them in the future. Good luck! :)

...to make the defense/revisions process as smooth and quick as possible. But it often makes the last few weeks somewhat miserable for students. I think showing up with the low-hanging fruit already handled will show your good faith and then your advisor can help trim down your remaining tasks!

...Hopefully, your advisor will help identify the key adjustments you should make and the others can just go on an "if I have time" list. But I often find that this part is the hardest for students. As an advisor, I try to anticipate what other committee members might have complaints about...

...then you might be able to fix the easy stuff and ask your advisor for some help prioritizing the harder to fix stuff. Sometimes we get into the "zone" and just jot down what we're thinking in the margins, but it doesn't always mean it ALL needs to be done before we'll sign off...

This part is so hard. But it can be a good sign. It can mean that your advisor cares enough to help you make your writing the best it can be. It might help to look through the feedback and rate it: maybe green for "super easy to fix," yellow for "doable to address," etc...

He doesn’t care as much about election denial when it isn’t *HIS* election. I think his election denial is in large part a way to protect his fragile narcissist’s ego. If members of Congress lose, it isn’t actually *him* losing so he can protect his ego without, you know, storming the capitol.

You can use it. He’s probably 80lbs or so and his nose comes up to my waist. Here he is standing on his hind legs in the shallow end of the pool for reference (you can use this one, too):
