Technology is ever-changing and there's always a new tool we can learn about. Why not ask for some help? Today we learned how AI can assist us teachers in determining which assessments are best in a scenario. I thought ChatGPT was pretty handy, among others.

I feel this is so true! Brain breaks are much needed at every age. Even as an adult, I need a brain break when I am learning or doing work. Edutopia shares great brain breaks!! check them out and save them in a "brain break" folder.

PHET is a site that has interactive simulations for science, math, physics, earth & space, and biology. Teachers can also access teaching resources and activities to go along with the simulations. I tried it, its awesome!

Today in #EDTC300 the topic was Emerging Technologies. A school in England utilizes virtual reality, it's called Metaschool. A class can go on a virtual field trip to a historic site and do virtual science experiments!

I learned about a great online resource for teachers who would like to develop their own text book gathered from different resources. It's called ck12 and it was developed to help provide education resources at NO cost to teachers and parents.

During our last #EDTC300 class we dove into PLNs (Personal Learning Network). What is a PLN? Cruise Slater (EDTC300 instructor) says a PLN is a network of resources, contacts, and tools that support ongoing learning and professional development.

This website is a wonderful spot to learn the Woodland Cree language. It has beautiful pictures, animation, audio, and also has Cree songs! There is also a link to order Cree resources!

Here is a useful tool if you are learning the Cree language or need to find a word in Cree. This site can convert words from English to Cree, or from Cree to English. They also have different dialects!

I feel this reward system would be good to try in a homeroom class setting. This reward system is based on good behavior for the whole classroom and not just singular students.
