NYT and USA Today best selling author of paranormal romantic suspense, cat lover, cook, gardener. I don't respond to DMs from people I don't know.
I'm writing the 6th book in my Soulmated Series, Dangerous Entanglement. I had 3/4 of it plotted, but I didn't know the ending. Today I was writing a scene about half way through the book and the identity of the major villian flashed into my mind--and I realized I'd been putting in clues all along.

I frequently get ads for stuff I've looked at. Socks. replacement china. sweaters. But why am I getting ads that say, "What sweet potatoes do to dogs." I don't have a dog. What gives? And btw, what do sweet potatoes do to dog.

High efficiency. We ordered 3 long-sleeved polo shirts for DH from Amazon. One was delivered by a woman in a car at 7:30. The second delivered by another woman at 8:30. I suppose the third will arrive some time. Mr. Cole Black is inspecting them.

This statue used to be in a fountain in my sun room. (Fountain was broken by, of course, a cat.) Here's Guess Who on the shelf above the statue on the shelf in my bathroom.

When I came out this morning to fill the food bowls, there was a puddle of pee on the porch. I assumed it was from a fox. Then I saw the video. It's this impolite cat.

This guy's new fave thing is scratching on my door mat. Sigh.

There are two bowls of cat food here. What this fox goes for is the crust from an apicot/apple tart.

Mr. Cole Black has invaded Holly's space on the bed. We are all here relaxing after y'day's feast.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Here's my brand new fender, which looks a lot like my old one, only it's not hanging off the connection clips. The Decorah plate is for my Decorah Security series. I got the name from an eagles' nest I watch in Decorah, Iowa.

A new pantry item

Last night Mr. Col Black jumped up on the light box over the bed--creating this gorgeous still life w/ cat.

Why do they call it a Christmas Cactus. It blooms before Thanksgiving.

The amazing Mr. Cole Black, balancing on one of the pantry doors. Not sure how he got up there.

It's hard to tell the foxes apart. I know this guy by the big white puff at the end of his tail.

The comfortable chair I got for the breakfast room needed a cover to stop Cole Black from scratching on it. Under the jacket is the slip cover I made from a towel. The jacket dresses it up.

As always, today is a great day to support artists, writers, creators of all sorts. If you have the means, buy a book, sign up for someone's Patreon, commission an art piece. It's also a lovely day to leave a nice comment, post a short review, spread the word about someone's work. Everything helps.

Cole hung around for the bridge party we had last night, but he got bored.

Thanfully, they have almost all fallen

Here's my "every blooming" azalea putting on it's fall show.

What I love most about fall--not.

I hate it when daylight savings time ends and darkness closes in so early. You?
