Author of “Shattered American Dream”, Panafricanist, Coach, Decolonizer, Partisan of Good Trouble
Is her true face finally revealed or what? In 2023 I worked with Krafts The Artistic One from RBS CREW in Senegal to design the background for the cover of my book. It’s painfully relevant today even though for me, this is what “Lady Liberty” has looked like from the jump!

"[...] on February 26, 2012, came the day [America] obliterated my heart, broke it in a million pieces and it would never really be the same ever again. 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was killed by George Zimmerman.”

Queen Anna Nzinga (c. 1583–1663) was a 17th century African ruler who fought against the Portuguese to protect her kingdoms from colonialism and the slave trade. She was also known as Queen Nzinga Mbande, Dona Ana de Sousa, and Njinga Mbandi.

Someone blurted in a comment replying to my flabbergasted reaction to the RFK confirmation hearings: “if you’re not happy then maybe you should move!” 🤦🏾‍♀️ Who’s gonna tell them 😆✌🏾? #Blaxit2019 #ivebeenleftyourBS

The U.S. right now… sitting at the junction of their own electoral choices. Welcome to the fuckery you selected.

Monday 20th January is MLK Day in the U.S. Period. Because it has never been Kumbaya. And this is one of my favorite pics of MLK because… seriously. All the country deserves is a sideye 🤷🏾‍♀️

She ain’t going, we ain’t watching. As the U.S. inaugurates a felon as President, this is where we will be, discussing Black Agency and a way forward that doesn’t mean putting our lives and sanity on the line.

It was January 6, 2021…
How fast we forget.
The source of this outrageous attack and chaos is getting inaugurated as president AGAIN four year later…. Make it make sense. AmeriKKKa… that’s how it makes sense.

This is « Grandma Glory » by David Roby.
If this doesn’t depict the plight of Black Women in America I don’t know what does. Grandma looks SPENT yet she’s sitting sewing the flag… fixing always fixing to her own detriment. This is why I love ART. One picture a million words and sentiments.

My vision of the USA and what led to my BLAXIT. My American Dream shattered and I extracted my family from a country I felt was unsafe for our Black lives.
What has shattered your American Dream?
My answer is in my book “Shattered American Dream” available on all Amazon platforms.
