Oh that's awesome to hear I'll have to dive back in! I enjoyed it when it came out but it didn't really feel like it needed to exist vs Civ6.

Paired with ".. cost 1 less to cast" cards you can be casting your things for free from exile. Very easy to abuse this card especially if you can give stuff flash and have another flicker card to play.

Amazon is a terrible place to preorder from anyways. There are multitudes of other places online, not even including plenty of FLGS that do preorder online, that are better than Bezos-enriching Amazon.
Also, WOTC has no control over when preorders start only vendors do.

I'm actually loving the move away from origin stories. Especially super hero movies. We don't need to see Uncle Ben or Bruce Wayne's parents die again, you know? Let's skip to the best parts.

I'm assuming they already do that kind of thing, perhaps not with as little lenience they should, but either way that still relies on someone to report them (which they already can do). For every person who reports there are probably 20 at the same LGS who don't. There's gotta be a better solution.

This is so cool! I love new takes on Partner especially ones that let noncreatures into the command zone. Congratulations and well done!

Yeah maybe so, and obviously opinions vary, but for me and the commander people at my LGS discord we pretty much follow spoilers for new commanders and this time the spoiler chat was dead as a tomb. Couldn't even get prerelease to fire because nobody was excited enough :(

Honest question: What do you propose WotC does to address these things? They sound more like store issues than WotC policy issues, but I'd love a solution. I struggle to keep my female friends interested after they go to in-store events because of stuff like this.

Maybe if they didn't cut back so much on exciting commanders I'd be more hype for it, but if the best you got is a boros food deck.. it's not a good set for me and my friends who just play commander 😭
