People dont realise that when governments borrow money they only have to pay off the annual interest on the money they borrow, they are never expected to pay back the capital they borrowed.

We had all the possession in the 2nd half and its really bad that we couldnt make it count even though Pickford made some good saves. But the 1st half was awful , we let Everton have the initiative and couldnt get it back even when they were down to 10.

We surrendered the initiative to Everton in the 1st half and couldnt get it back even after they went down to 10. The energy level was much better in the 2nd half but we couldnt find the ability needed to create enough solid goal scoring chances. Why we were so placid at the start of the game ?

Much better 2nd half, more urgency and pace in our game. If we can keep this up the equaliser should come.

Given that we have a man advantage we should take off one of the centrebacks and go to a back 4 and bring on Mount to help link midfield to attackers.

Yes I was just thinking that if they take the lead they will sit back and defend like dogs, we are going to need to be relentless to get back into the game.

We will need to be at our best to beat a decent Everton side and match them in terms of fight desire and physicality. but our home form is good and their away form not great so we can be hopeful of the win.
