I would love to know the thought process she took to this decision. What made her say "Yes! I'll do it!" I gotta believe that she understands how this will impact her career not in a good way.

We want better leaders, but who’s willing to run? Imagine regular folks unseating chaos. Is it time for us to build better leadership? Too many good people think running for office isn’t for them, so we’re stuck with the richest & loudest, not the smartest.
