Had to go to the pharmacy today. For some odd ass reason I pulled up a disco mix on the YT music for the ride. Why haven't I listened to disco in 50 years? I had a freaking blast. I'm saving that list to listen to again.

So we did our annual "net worth" of the YouTube creators we watch. Most years Google did pretty recent numbers. Since AI has taken over Google searches they're all based on 2023. Based on that, husband's scientists and nerds seem to do better than my comedians. Hard to be NOSY now days.

Finished #disney #aristocats bag for grandson's other grandma. His second favorite movie to watch over there. His first favorite is Jungle Book but I haven't found a t shirt yet. I hope she likes it!

No grandchild today. Husband's asleep. I've actually had time to tidy up some (but not enough). The sun is shining and all is pretty much well. How rare. lol Life isn't as hard as I take it to be but it's hard enough I notice PEACE.

We have received a total of 2 Xmas cards this year. Insurance company sent one and an online friend of 20+ years. Usually we have a stack but not this year. What's going on? Christmas cancelled?

More than 24 hours husband has been without blood thinners. I've been trying since last week to get his refill before he ran out. I failed. If he dies this is on #HUMANA #STTHOMASHEART #WALGREENS . I physically went to the Dr office. Between Dr and #Humana they can't figure out what's covered.

We got our SS COL notice in the mail today. As hard as things are starting in January even with the cost of living increase we'll actually be getting LESS per month than this year. How the fuck are we going to survive on LESS? #ECONOMY

Very bad bad day yesterday. I BROKE. Anyway I hid in my room and got the free powerwash simulator 2 demo and played it. OCD/ADHD/I don't know but I went into some brain relief condition playing that stupid game for 45 minutes just spraying a truck.

Every time I turn my phone on now it says "Connection to GALAXY (blahblah) earbuds failed" I don't have ear buds. I wouldn't know how to connect ear buds. Someone in the neighborhood has bluetooth earbuds that my phone is hitting on. I'm planning what song to play if they actually do connect.

I never have begrudged anyone vacations and travel. However, today while emptying urinal and spreading ointment on surgical scars hearing comedians talk about their overseas travel this fall punched me in the gut. I hate everyone lol.

Best laugh of the week. Recovering husband was reading. I was folding laundry. YouTube played @nspband.bsky.social Pour Some Sugar on Me then Power of Love. Husband looks up from his book. "You know, anthropologists will study that band in 100 years for the changes of video portrayal of women"
One week post bypass and husband is home doing well. It's a long recovery. He didn't have the double bypass they could only do the widow maker artery so he has to go back once healed for the calcified one. He's asleep. I'm washing dishes w/ music on. Have a happy turkey day to those who partake.

Husband is doing well enough to flash his gnarly scar like a proud 10 year old gruesome boy. He should get to come home tomorrow! PT cleared him and hospital is clearing out for the holiday. I left him at the hospital to tidy the house, pick up meds and pharmacy items and all that fun stuff.

Husband is improving a lot post heart surgery. I've had enough scares to last me a life time. Nurses are awesome and hearing the Trump disgust at labeling them not professionals has been entertaining. The hallways were full of muted "fuck trump" from all political parties. Or rather former parties

Called my 90 year old mama to tell her husbands heart surgery is tomorrow and she wished him well. Says men are puny younger now than in her day lol also that if he doesn't make it I don't have to go find me another man because im 61. I shocked her and said I wouldn't want just one hahaha
