hello everyone our first recipe has been chosen! thank you to RJ (@monday-malaise.bsky.social) for the submission of the recipe! this december we will be cooking Chicken and Dumplings!

It consists of a chicken soup base with fluffy dumplings, chunks of chicken, and various vegetables. The recipe here is adapted from one that my grandmother wrote down and gave to my parents, and though I'm pretty sure she found the instructions and ingredients online before she transcribed it, I can't seem to find the original website that hosts the recipe unfortunately. I'll be providing both U.S. customary and metric measurements for the ingredients, but as I am not used to using the metric system, please keep in mind that the measurements may not be perfectly accurate.
