Toyota's behaviour, once they realised they'd hobbled themselves by going all-in on hydrogen, has been utterly depressing. They could've been the standard-bearers for hybrids, EVs and hydrogen. Instead, they tried to make life difficult for their competitors.

Skill issue. Need some decent (not expensive) equipment and it's night and day. Most vinyl these days is better mastered because *it has to be*.

Perhaps the only upside to this is, as they remove models and make-up artists from their marketing, there will be a lot fewer young women in the proximity of older, male executives.

The worst people are play-acting as creative executives. Spending their company's money on shit, without ever having to interact with an actual human being.

Oh for the days when wit, invention and humanity used to offset the more sinister aspects of the ads. Now it's just front and centre for all to see. To think this will be nostalgia for someone growing up today; A digital melange of past media shat out by the most cynical people in history.
