We were warned reelecting that man would be a blow to our democracy. My concern is that in midterms people will fix their mouths to say “democrats did nothing” and only aid in keeping us from unifying around the common goal of a better America.

Most Black folks knew this nonsense was coming. It's wrong, but we've always had to hustle, so I feel like collectively we'll be all right. But I also can't help thinking that a whole lot of white people, deprived of the "DEI" excuse, are about to get a wake-up call about their own mediocrity.
