Depends on your budget and space but for a record player a ATLPW50PB turntable with a VM95 cartridge is easy to maintain and easy (and cheap) to upgrade to a really nice stylus. Much cheaper than the comparable ortophone cartridge platform. Speakers really depend on how much you want to spend

It’s worked ok so far. The Fosi options didn’t have 3 inputs like the a40 did so they wouldn’t work for me.
