I can say in my defense that I have never complained about ludonarrative dissonance... Partly because I never heard that term before 😅
I'll generally just poke fun at things like that that are a little nonsensical, but if it's fun it's fun.

Hmm... Personally I don't think it should be called that. Calling it that makes it sound like it was his idea, so it kind of gives the impression of him fighting corruption. I would recommend 'The FDT Act' (Fraud, Duplicity, and Treason in politics).

The conversations I've had at work with the people who are totally on board with the AI hype train... Ugh.
They don't care about it getting things completely wrong, or creating more work for them in the process, they're just in love with the shiny new toy that lets them think they can be lazy.

Slow cooker chili. Modified a recipe I found to make it lazy, and now I've got multiple people at work who keep asking me to make more for them cause it's the best chili they've ever had. 😂
When I have the time and motivation, I make cornbread to go with it. One of the best meals ever.

I think they don't care about the population count. Stephen Miller wants to reduce it to around 100 million. Largely by getting rid of anybody that's not white or on their side.

I would agree with you about the election fraud claims being bullshit.
Regarding what they were saying and the 'cheating' part, very likely he's going to move to take over elections by force. Already saying cancel midterms, raiding elections offices, arresting journalists, kidnapping politicians...

I agree, with the caveat that we should absolutely all still vote whenever we can, and try to get as many people as possible to vote against them. Not because it will work, but because we need it to be overwhelmingly obvious we want them out, for the people to all see. Horrific times coming, though.

I got around to watching it last night and if anything felt proud of you for laying it out there. Only other thing that came to my mind was that unfortunately, it's going to get much, much worse. Fascist dictatorships have only ever been removed one way, and people aren't yet willing to do that.

Even if you dissolve the party, they will still be here, and we will have to figure out what to do. We have millions of people willing to do anything and everything to strip all our rights away and kill people they don't like.

I'm gonna differ from a lot of people telling you what you should do first: since it's your first, I wouldn't worry much about the setup. I agree on getting a tuner and always tuning before you play, but anything you do now will change down the road anyway. Starting out, lessons are most helpful.

A lot of people don't know, though, or that you can go to prison if you put laxatives in someone else's food because of that... So I try to point it out when they say something like that

That was always their policy. They were always defending it before because it's almost always them that wind up shooting at people. The instant anybody else does something, they start talking about going after other people with guns. Even if that something is just... Happening to have one.

Just a tip - don't take an entire thing of any kind of laxative unless you know for sure it's safe to do so. Laxatives work by using small amounts of poison to make your digestive system freak out to get rid of it. Too much can kill.

😂 Agreed, though I would say as far as recipes that's seemingly just what people do on the internet - tell you you're doing it wrong. Literally any recipe that gets posted, someone will attack it and say "that's not how you're supposed to make it!"... Even to the person who invented the recipe.
