Like if you do a dive on romance novels written for a masculine audience you'll find that there really arent any and I find that wild. Something about romance not being manly or something for hundreds of years.

Romance options are enourmously underated in games imo.
Everyone online likes to complain about how they are poorly written in CRPGs but I don't know what romance they are reading or games they are playing and comparing them to because it is super underreprsented in the west.

Only played it a few years ago so it didnt define my childhood but Pool of Radiance and its ilk totally still hold up

As a Pillars 1 and 2 fan. I thought Avowed kicked ass. Really enjoyed my rifle mage on that Path of the Damned difficulty. I thought the writing was excellent and a really cool extension of the PoE world.

Nah, gotta support artists. The good erotic art has a quality all of its own that can never be replaced by some robot. Especially given how stigmatized it is.

I think I was just addicted to rifling dudes and throwing spells maybe. Combat also felt like it needed me to use companions abilities smartly too. What build did you do?

I came into Avowed with low expectations but had a great time which surprised me. I was a fan of both the Pillars games though and played through on the hardest difficulty which I found impressively balanced. Unsure what about the game people disliked really. The criticisim didnt make sense to me.

Most people arent trying to get to know people that much. They are here to interact with people they admire and get inspiration, reccomendations, or news. As well as just find things that are funny or interesting.
